Echos in the Earth

Echos in the Earth:  A new trail running photo series exploring movement through ancient volcanic landscapes.

Set against the geometric structure of columnar basalt, the project contrasts human motion with geological stillness, fleeting energy intersecting with formations shaped over millions of years.

The series is about more than just speed or sport. It’s about presence. Rhythm. Terrain. It’s about running with the landscape, not just through it.

This work reflects what I’m most interested in as a photographer: the balance between planning and spontaneity, physical effort and visual stillness, and the power of natural form to shape human experience.
